Moving to the Netherlands is a great challenge! Arranging your visa and/or residence permit might seem daunting, but luckily you don’t need a law firm.
Immigration Advise NL offers a smooth and perfectly affordable alternative for your stay in the Netherlands.
Costs & types of applications
My name is Marco van der Vinne and I have worked as an immigration expert since 2001. In the past I have worked for the Dutch Immigration- and Naturalisation Service, assessing all types of visa/residence permit applications. Since 2009 I have been working as an immigration advisor in the higher education sector. I have arranged hundreds of visa’s and residence permits for expats, knowledge migrants and their family members.
Besides my current position as an immigration advisor for an international university and a large academic hospital, I started my own practice Immigration Advise NL in 2016.
It is my experience and belief that any migration case is never as complex as it appears.
Therefore, and based on my daily work and years of experience, I am happy to say you do not need an expensive lawfirm. This is a huge difference: a difficult case can lead to an objection or to court case, which is (money wise) interesting for any lawyer. The reason I offer a reasonable lower price, is because I will not handle your case, if it is not meeting the requirements. Contrary to other immigration advisors, I do not offer relocation services, which often has to be purchased in combination with your visa and/or residence permit case. I believe that expats can, and prefer to arrange this them selves. This is why I can offer reasonable rates.
My fees are not based on working hours but package prices, covering the complete immigration case, as I handle it from beginning to the end.
For individuals I offer two different packages of handling your immigration case.
1 > Pre-scan & DIY €100
You will receive instructions and will prepare and submit your immigration case yourself. I will do a pre-scan in order to check if it meets the requirements of the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service.
2 > Full handling €200
You will receive instructions for preparing only the necessary proof and documentation. I will check your documents and assess your case. I will prepare and submit your immigration application, on your behalf, to the Dutch Immigration- and Naturalisation Service (IND). During the application process I will represent you towards the IND, defend your case if required and look after their handling.
3 > Objection procedure € 300
Many people fail to succeed in their immigration application. If the IND rejects your application, you have four weeks to appeal their negative decision. For such an appeal procedure representation by a lawyer is not legally required (opposed to court cases), but you most probably need legal expertise. I can offer this expertise, draft the objection letter on your behalf and defend your case at the IND.
There are different kinds of applications you may want to consult me on, like:
> MVV long term visa
> A first residence permit, for your new born baby
> Extension of your residence permit
> Changing between different types of residence permit
Your individual circumstances determine what type of application is necessary, as as the type of residence permit. For example:
> Search year / Orientation year
> Permanent residence permit
> Knowledge migrant
> Partner (married, unmarried)
These are all types of applications in which I am an expert and have broad experience.
If you are an entrepeneur, a company or a starting company and you want to hire a non-EU employee for your business, I can offer a variety of services:
> preparation of an application for recognized sponsor status of your company at the IND
> applications for knowledge migrant residence permits for your non-EU staff
> advice on the hiring process of a non-EU graduate for your company
> application for a short stay visa for your business partner
> application for a work permit (TWV)
Please note that the Dutch legislation is very strict. Therefore I will first asses whether your company meets the requirements. If not, I can advise how to achieve this or consider alternative ways. And if the outcome is positive, I can offer all the necessary service or guidance for your company in order to prepare and/or submit the application.
Because of the complexity for companies, an hourly rate applies. Please contact me for more information or a brief assessment of your immigration question, free of charge.
